About Us
Valley Piecemakers Quilt & Craft Club was organized in 1995 by Doris Bornitz and Wanda Wemhoff (click here to read about our club history). It is comprised of people who enjoy piecing and quilting, whether by hand or by machine. Our members are multi-talented craftspeople, doing everything from applique to embroidery to intricate Hardanger needlework. And don't feel intimidated if you are a beginner to quilting -- we all had to learn. We are here to help one another.
Please join us at one of our monthly meetings, held in the conference room at the Fire Station in Saint Maries, Idaho.
We also hold an Activity Day on the second Saturday of the month (September through May) -- come join us!
We have a number of activities we do each year to benefit the community, including making quilts that are raffled off to earn money for designated charities (see specific quilts or other projects under Charities).
